Keep Islip Clean's September General MeetingThursday, September 20th, 7pm -- Topics include issues impacting a clean, green environment throughout every hamlet of Islip Township.  Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip. For more information: 631-224-2627 or keepislipclean@optonline.net.

September: International Coastal Cleanup. Locations are still available for this important environmental project. Volunteer teams pick a waterway and tally information on the litter found for the Ocean Conservancy in Washington.  All instructions and supplies provided. Wednesday, September 12th - Project Bloom Gardens. Volunteers will help weed, mulch and generally spruce up the community vegetable plots, pollinator garden and surrounding area. Bring garden gloves and a rake if you have them! Gardens are at the far corner of the Brookwood Hall Park parking lot, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip. 9am to noon.

Thursday, September 15th - Estuary Day. Hosted by Seatuck Environmental Association, 550 South Bay Avenue, Islip. Coastal cleanup, rain garden info. session, shell painting and activities for children. 9:30am to 2pm. For a full schedule and to register visit Eventbrite.com.

Join KIC's contribution to Estuary Day, hosted by Seatuck Environmental Association.Volunteers will pickup and tally litter as part of the International Coastal Cleanup. Saturday October 20th - Brook Street Wetlands Cleanup. This is the last of our large International Coastal Cleanup events. volunteers will pickup and tally litter for the Ocean Conservancy.
