Keep Islip Clean January Meeting – Thursday, January 18 -- Join us as we begin a new year of beautification, litter, education and recycling projects and programs. Come with questions and share solutions about topics that impact a clean, green community. Suffolk County Legislator Tom Cilmi will open the meeting with the swearing in of KIC's 2018 Executive Board. 7pm, Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip. Clothing Drive: Reduce Reuse Recycle!  Keep your items out of landfills while helping us raise funds. KIC is collecting clothing as a way to divert material from landfills and encourage reuse. In addition, Savers will donate money to KIC for each pound of clothing collected. Please put clean, gently used clothing in trash bags and drop off at the KIC office, 660 Main Street, Islip any time between 10am and 4pm, Monday through Friday. Drive ends on January 31st.
